Next Generation Intranet Management - The Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet standardised on the Eye Media Australia WebInterprise content management system for next-generation "Matrix" Intranet for internal communications and knowledge management.  Awarded for excellence in the adoption and success of an intranet system, the use of WebInterprise means the department can quickly build and launch additional web sites, with easy publishing and management of content from a single system.  Following this success the DPC have launched their new Internet site, the site was developed internally by DPC developers using Eye Media's Software Developers Kit (SDK). The site provides a gateway into the DPC for the community and allows the DPC to manage both the Matrix Intranet and the DPC Internet site form from a single content management system

"Outstanding" High Capacity Web Hosting - On the day of each annual State budget, the release of budget papers online creates a massive flood of download requests from hundreds of thousands of people, in Victoria and worldwide. For several years, the Victorian government grappled with the issue of this huge peak in website traffic, attempting inhouse hosting and using some of the largest hosting organisations in Australia with mixed success.  In 2003, Eye Media Australia hosted the budget for first time. It was also the first time that there were no delays and no downtime during this huge peak in demand. This was repeated in 2004 with government praising Eye Media Australia, "for their outstanding support. We could not have asked for better service or responsiveness, and had a trouble-free budget period."

A major focus on the needs of Local Government - After an exhaustive selection process to being selected as preferred online provider to local government, Eye Media Australia has developed a special package of products, services and pricing to help local government shift towards easy content management by non-technical staff, intranets and internal knowledge management, online access to council services and collaboration between local government organisations. As well as products and very special pricing, Eye Media Australia has developed a flexible growth path for councils without big initial investments or having to change technology over time. For example, a council simply wanting to move to a better website, with more interactivity and ability to publish new content easily can adopt WebInterprise with a low design budget and limited license at incredibly low cost.  Then, when the business case justifies it, more elaborate design and new functions can be made available with a simple extension of their WebInterprise software license.  This can be seen in the wide variety of styles and features of the WebInteprise council sites now in operation, such as Manningham, Maroondah, Moorabool, Hobson's Bay, Wangarratta, and Central Goldfields.  WebInterprise is also at the heart of the Municipal Association of Victoria Local Government Portal, which provides online communication, best practice sharing and collaboration between MAV and the 78 local councils across the state.
